Tips For Memorization

Hifz Quran
Quran Memorization
"Hifz" or simply memorizing the Koran is a dream for all Muslims. However, most of the brothers and sisters complain that due to their hectic daily schedules, they do not have time to dedicate themselves to memorizing the Koran.
We spoke with several Islamic scholars, many of whom had memorized the Qur'an and asked them for effective advice on how to master the memorization of the Koran despite being busy both at work and at home.
The advice they gave (specifically aimed at busy people) includes the following:

1- Get up early in the morning

Be the first to wake up and, if possible, first offer the prayers of Fajr in the mosque. When you have finished with the morning prayers, instead of spending your time in frivolous activities such as watching television or surfing the Internet, take a few minutes to memorize the Qur'an.

2- Set realistic goals and memorize less than you think you can

You may be tempted to memorize one or two pages per day, as it seems to be a realistic goal. However, you may soon give up due to lack of time. Instead, reduce your expectations and start by memorizing three to five lines a day.
Dedicating at least 20 minutes to this type of memorization technique will work even for the busiest people.

3- Use the familiarity technique.

Initially, as you begin to memorize the Qur'an, you will naturally find unfamiliar verses. Therefore, to memorize them, you can write five verses on a piece of paper and memorize them.
Read these verses over and over again over the next few weeks to retain them in memory completely.

4- Keep the daily verses within reach

Use each free moment throughout the day to read and memorize the lines of the Qur'an that you are compromising in memory. For example, you can have several free minutes during the time you are waiting for a bus, an appointment at a doctor's clinic, etc.
You can save the list of the verses of the day in your purse or pocket for easy access and consult them when you have difficulty remembering what you are learning.

5- Recite what you memorize in each salah

To further consolidate what you are learning in memory, you can recite daily verses in the five daily prayers. In each raka, you can alternate between the five verses you learned the same day or the previous days.

6- Follow your goals

If a page of the Qur'an contains the last 15 lines, by the end of the week you will have memorized two pages of the Qur'an and the pattern will continue until you have saved the Qur'an in memory.
In addition, you can learn verse by verse with translation and reflect on the meanings of them.

7- Distraction free environment

It is better to memorize the Qur'an in an isolated place with little or no distraction. By ensuring that the environment is quiet, you can increase the focus and, therefore, retain what you memorize.
For example, as we mentioned earlier, early morning memorization sessions are very effective due to minimal distractions at that time.
In addition, you can turn off your cell phone and laptop and concentrate solely on the Quran to increase attention.

8- Review what you memorize as many times as possible in a single day

To memorize the Koran, it is important to review each verse you learn. You can use the following 3 methods technique to make sure you keep everything you have learned:

A new memorization begins at the beginning of the day.

Check the lines you learned the previous week before embarking on starting a new memorization. The logic behind this arrangement is that the most recent memorization is the one that is often forgotten first. Therefore, reviewing the previous parts of the Qur'an before will be a good warm-up exercise for your brain.
In addition, you can create connections between the previously memorized material and the new material that you are about to memorize.
On the same day at another time, review the material you learned before the previous seven days.
In addition, you can make use of Quran memorization applications to stay in line with your memorization goals.
In conclusion, you will find that no matter how busy you are, if you try to implement the tips mentioned above, you will be able to memorize small fragments of the Qur'an and eventually complete the memorization over a period of time.
However, the key to memorizing the Qur'an is consistency, dedication and hard work. In addition, the blessings of doing so are immense, not only will you increase your imaan and taqwa, but also your self-esteem and confidence.

Important Tips For Quran Memorization or Hifz

Hifz Quran     1. Sincerity  The first issue you should pay attention to is your intention (if you have good intentions, you will be fine). Make sure that the intention you are doing is only for Allah, seek His Pleasure so that inshAllah, with His Mercy, be rewarded in the Aakhirah. It is not to be shown in front of others that you have memorized a lot. Sincerity is not a one-time factor but it is a continuous battle that you always have to renew. 2. Consistency  The more frequently you memorize, the easier it becomes. It is very essential to be consistent and not skip a day. There is no weekend in worship. The minimum that one must memorize is at least 3 lines, 5 is more ideal. If you are consistent, inshAllah, you can be huffadh in 5 to 6 years. 3. Time  The first thing you should do on the day is to memorize, even do it before breakfast, because this is your spiritual breakfast. The best time to memorize is right after Fajr. . Islam and Mother part 2

This is the part 2 of  our previous blog names islam and mother.now we continue our blog. 2. Caring for uncles and aunts, both of the father and the mother Some religious laws before Islam neglected the mother's relationships, making them insignificant. With the advent of Islam, he sympathized with the importance of caring for uncles and aunts, both on the father's side and on the mother's side. A man approached the Prophet, blessings and peace be upon him, and said: "I committed an offense, could I atone for it?" He asked: "Do you have a mother?" The man said: "No." He asked: "Do you have a maternal aunt?" The man said: "Yes." The Prophet, blessings and peace be upon him, said: "Be good to her." (Transmitted by Termithy in "Righteousness and Relations" (1905); Ibn Hibban Charity (EI-Ehsan) (435); and Al-Hakim who amended it on the terms of the two Sheikhs, agreed upon by Al-Dhahaby, 4/155, all on th...
